Saturday 6:54 Starbucks Cross Creek - Bright, bright sunrise from the Malibu Pier. Gulls soared and one joyfully splattered the roof of my car. Ewwww. Clean up on Aisle 1! Larry Ellison’s magnificent sailboat was tethered to a buoy off the pier, but the sun rose way North of it now. Having to wait for the sun to clear the mountains these days. Makes for a tough capture as the sun-having-risen is so intense when it crests the mountains. Means I’ll get up just that much earlier to shoot at Point Dume . OK, upliftment time. Higher ground is all around always. All we need do is step up to it. THINKING about the blog. That’s stepping down. Don’t plan, don’t structure and whatever you do, don’t fill up pages with excuses for why it ain’t better.
