Today's Sepia Tone Sunrise

I have so many demons and voices telling what a fraud I am and how my meager talent will be uncovered. Scripts have to be pried from my cold, dead hands before I let anyone read them. …Scott Frank
6:50 Starbucks Malibu Colony Waited for sunrise on PCH at the Malibu Pier with a surfer beached by a cold. He surfs most days on his way to work building things. Been surfing here at Surfriders’ Beach since he was 10, more than a few years ago. Seems to know about everybody. The sun was so bright it went to sepia tone with just a few wisps of clouds that have now multiplied to a full overcast. National Volunteer Week brings a recognition breakfast today at Wise Healthy Aging where I volunteer weekly with their Alzheimers’ Group. Requesting prayers of support for Mom in her physical therapy seeking to embrace whatever strength is left for her in this home stretch of her 92-1/2 year journey. I love you, Mom.
